Police have recovered the pickup truck stolen from a Blackburn home Monday morning and have arrested two of the six people suspected to be involved in the robbery and attack on the home's occupant.

The pickup, a grey 2010 Ford F-150, was located in an alley near Norwood Avenue and Oak Street in the VLA.

RCMP had received a call at 8:36 a.m. and believe six people wearing masks attempted a home invasion.

The home's occupant was able to defend himself, injuring at least two of his attackers, a male and female, who were arrested at the scene and transported to the University Hospital of Northern B.C. for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.

The victim was treated at the scene by ambulance personnel and released.

The remaining suspects fled in the pickup, and police believe a number of items, including a rifle, were stolen from the home.
