Police are on the lookout for a suspect - and answers - following a stabbing on Saturday night.

It occurred near the corner of Massey Boulevard and Westwood Drive sometime before 10 p.m. when a man punched then stabbed one of two other men who were walking through a parking lot.

The suspect then fled in a white SUV-style vehicle with another male.

"The motivation behind this attack is not yet known," RCMP said.

The victim was transported to hospital for treatment of his non-life threatening injuries.

The suspect is described as First Nations and in his early 20's, 183 cm (6') tall with a chubby build. He was wearing a black coat, jeans and a hat
