Don't forget to come out to the fifth annual Prince George Citizen Regional Spelling Bee Saturday in Prince George.
The competition, beginning at 1 p.m. in Vanier Hall, is expected to be fierce with seven competitors returning to represent their school.
There are 39 students in Grade 4 to 8 vying to win $5,000 from the Egg Farmers of Canada and the right to represent Northern B.C. at the Postmedia Canspell national bee in Toronto in March.
The national winner will receive $15,000 and will be invited to compete internationally at the Scripps Spelling Bee in Washington D.C. in June.
