A sweet, loving young cat at the BC SPCA North Cariboo District Branch in Prince George is in need of help.

The branch says Mr. Fluffers came to the branch with a severely fractured leg, and the damage is so bad that his leg needs to be amputated right away.

It's currently unclear how the injury was suffered because the cat was surrendered.

“Mr. Fluffers is a very sweet and loving one-year-old cat,” SPCA North Cariboo District animal centre services manager Alex Schare says. “He’s already had to go through the pain and stress of dealing with a severe, life-changing injury at such a young age.”

The fundraising goal for Mr. Fluffers and his care is $1,684 (X-rays, surgery, vaccinations and daily care). You can make a donation online or visit the branch at 4011 Lansdowne Rd.
