A space heater used to thaw a frozen water line was the cause of a fire that struck a mobile home, Prince George Fire Rescue said.
Twelve firefighters from three fire stations were called to the blaze Thursday afternoon in the 2100 block of Kenworth Road East.
They found coming from the crawl space and worked quickly to bring the fire under control and eventually extinguish the fire, PGFR assistant chief Kevin Scobie said.
Cost of the loss is estimated at $15,000, there were no injuries and the cause of the blaze was classified as accidental.
