A Prince George man already facing charges as a result of the seizure of a cache of guns in May is facing new charges.

Ryan John Moore, 23, remained in custody as of Tuesday following his arrest over the weekend on a charge of possession for the purpose of trafficking.

Prince George RCMP said 14 grams of crack cocaine and about $6,000 in cash were found Saturday when police pulled over a vehicle Moore was in on Westwood Drive.

Moore also faces two counts of breach of a recognizance or undertaking and one count of breach of a probation order as a result of the arrest.

Moore is the son of William "Billy" Moore, the president of the Prince George Renegades Motorcycle Club who was shot to death in 2005 in an apparent gang-related execution. No one has been arrested for the murder.

Ryan Moore was arrested May 16 and later charged with 15 firearms-related charges after police recovered six guns and numerous rounds of ammunition and several high-capacity magazines from a vehicle he was alleged to have used to escape when police swooped in on a rural gravel pit.

In October 2013, Moore was found not guilty of a long list of charges related to the seizure of a large cache of stolen firearms from his Prince George townhouse in November 2011.

There was a suggestion the guns had been planted in the home's attic without Moore's knowledge. A day prior to a police raid on the home, Moore had been in RCMP custody and was released in the morning while a search warrant on the home was executed that night.

He was found guilty of trafficking in heroin and cocaine after admitting to selling drugs to support his own heroin addiction. Police found 110.48 grams of heroin and 1.24 grams of cocaine in the home.

Moore was sentenced to time served on those counts and to a further two years probation. He had been in custody for 22 months on the charges less 30 days for breaching a recognizance after he was found overdosed on heroin.

Along with Moore, 33-year-old woman was also arrested Saturday and is scheduled to make a first appearance on April 29.

The incident was separate from one on Friday morning when a 23-year-old man and an 18-year-old woman were arrested after RCMP seized an allegedly-stolen handgun and some drugs from a vehicle they had pulled over on Pine Street.

The names of those two have not been released pending approval of charged by Crown counsel.
