Snowpack levels for the Upper Fraser and Nechako basins remain near normal according to the Feb. 1 report from the province's river forecast centre.

The level for the Upper Fraser stood at 99 per cent and for the Nechako it was 109 per cent.

"By this date, generally about two-thirds of the B.C. mountain snowpack has accumulated," said RFC officials. "Conditions as of Feb. 1 do not indicate significant potential for freshet flood risk in any of the major river basins."
