A heavy snowfall warning issued early this morning for Prince George has ended.

Environment Canada has called off the prediction of a significant snowfall this afternoon and tonight.

In the early hours of the morning, the weather office said snowfall amounts of 10 to 15 centimetres were forecast for the Cariboo and Prince George by this evening.

For Yellowhead and McGregor, heavy snow is still supposed to persist into Wednesday with total snowfall amounts up to 20 centimetres expected.
