Environment Canada issued a snowfall warning for Prince George on Tuesday afternoon.
Environment Canada is predicting that snow is expected to begin early on Wednesday morning in Prince George and throughout the Cariboo region.
Ten centimetres of snow is expected throughout the day on Wednesday.
“A frontal system will move from the Gulf of Alaska into central B.C. on Wednesday. Snow will begin Wednesday morning and intensify in the afternoon, before tapering off to periods of light snow Wednesday overnight,” an Environment Canada statement said. “Be prepared to adjust your driving with changing road conditions. Visibility may be suddenly reduced at times in heavy snow.”
