One person died in the crash that closed down Highway 16 between Prince George and Vanderhoof on Friday, July 11.
North District RCMP report that a head-on collision between two pickup trucks resulted in one fatality, with two others injured.
RCMP arriving at the scene found the driver of one truck deceased at the scene, with the driver and passenger of the other being taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The cause is unkown, and the investigation is ongoing.
