A small electrical fire in London Drugs temporarily shut down the Parkwood Place store for close to three and a half hours Monday.

Fire crews from three Prince George halls responded to the call at 12:29 p.m.

"It was round a plug-in in an exterior wall of London Drugs, in front of the building," said assistant chief Drew Larsen of the Prince George Fire Department. "It was very small, localized, minimal smoke damage. We did open up the wall and make sure there was no fire extension."

The store was evacuated and power was cut-off from the building. Fire crews wrapped up at 1:35 p.m. and the store manager reported that London Drugs reopened shortly after 3 p.m. after some quick repairs.
