Coun. Brian Skakun plans to take his case to city council for using taxpayers' money to cover his legal bills.
Skakun, who is facing upwards of $30,000 in expenses to contest an accusation he contravened privacy legislation by allegedly leaking city personnel information to the media, said Friday he's asked his lawyer, Jon Duncan, to write a letter to outlining why the city should cover his costs.
