After being rejected behind closed doors, Coun. Brian Skakun wants to take the issue of when the city should cover staff and council members' legal bills to a public forum.
A notice of motion from Skakun is included in the council agenda package for Monday's meeting that urges council to hold a discussion in a public meeting "regarding the indemnification and providing financial legal assistance" for city staff and elected officials.
