The Prince George Community Foundation has given out $21,000 to six local charities that go above and beyond for seniors in the community. Hart Pioneer Centre Association, PG & District Citizens Activity Centre Society, Prince George Council of Seniors, Elder Citizens Recreation Association, Spruce Capital Seniors Association and North Central Seniors Association each received $3,500 for Giving Tuesday.
The money comes from the Area of Greatest Need Fund, which is dedicated to supporting charitable organizations working to facilitate the highest needs and the greatest impact within our community.
