Only seven people are on the list to speak on Thursday when the Canadian Environmental Assessment Agency panel examining the proposed Site C dam is scheduled to visit Prince George.
Public hearings got underway earlier this month in Fort St. John and the panel has been traveling throughout the region during the first phase of hearings into the proposed 1,100-megawatt hydroelectric dam along the Peace River.
The Prince George session is slated to run from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Thursday at the Ramada. Those on the list to speak include:KwadachaFirstNation chief DonnyVanSomer; KeithSashaw of the Association of Consulting Engineering Companies of B.C.; Sara Van Mulligen of the Sea Breeze Victoria Converter Corporation and MaryAnne Arcand of the Central Interior Logging Association. The rest of the presenters did not list an affiliation.
Representatives from BC Hydro will be given an opportunity to provide opening and closing remarks.
After the Prince George hearings, the panel will take a holiday break before resuming in January with more hearing dates in the northeast region.
