Shots fired at Third Avenue home

A home in the 3100 block of Third Avenue was the target of a shots fired incident early Sunday morning. Prince George RCMP, who were called to the scene at 2:20 a.m., said damage to the home was consistent with shots fired from a shotgun.

A home in the 3100 block of Third Avenue was the target of a shots fired incident early Sunday morning.

Prince George RCMP, who were called to the scene at 2:20 a.m., said damage to the home was consistent with shots fired from a shotgun.

No one was hurt and it's believed the gun's wielder fled on foot, possibly to a waiting vehicle.

RCMP also said it appears to have been a targeted incident and the general public is not in danger.

An investigation is continuing and anyone with information on the incident is asked to call the Prince George RCMP at 250-561-3300 or anonymously contact Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
