Staff working the night shift at a local big box store got a surprise over Tuesday night.
About a bit more than an hour after Walmart's 10 p.m. closing time, they came across a woman still inside the building and trying to sneak out with merchandise, Prince George RCMP said.
When they tried to stop her, she attacked them and got away.
No further description was available but anyone who may have seen something suspicious outside the store - the incident was reported at 11:20 p.m. - is asked to call the Prince George RCMP at 250-561-3300 or anonymously contact Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
