A man suspected of committing a deadly stabbing in Sexsmith, Alta. has been arrested.
Jordan Joseph Wendland, 28, was apprehended in Chilliwack on Wednesday, RCMP, a day after police in Alberta issued an alert saying he may be on the way to the Lower Mainland.
Wendland allegedly fled the scene after stabbing four people - one of whom died from his wounds - at a bar in the community's downtown early Sunday morning.
Acting on a tip, RCMP found Wendland in a home in downtown Chilliwack.
Wendland faces one count of second-degree murder and three counts of aggravated assault.
