Prince George Fire Rescue responded to a reported structure fire at the empty London Hotel on Third Avenue at 2:15 Friday morning.

Fifteen firefighters from three halls attended.

Crews first to arrive discovered fire on the ground floor at the back of the building.

The fire was quickly under control.

The fire went into the roof of the three storey building.

A fourth fire hall came in to help to find and extinguish hot spots.

The fire is completely extinguished.

There were no tenants in the building because of the last fire earlier this week.

The cause appears to be suspicious. Prince George RCMP along with Prince George Fire Rescue investigators will be on the scene later this morning.

No injuries to any personnel have been reported.
