To date, there has been no word of any significant findings of human remains at the Northern Thunderbird Air fire site.
RCMP Cst. Gary Godwin said forensic anthropologist, Dr. Richard Lazenby, who's leading the team, and RCMP will issue a statement on Wednesday as to how the search is progressing.
The team is searching for human remains that relate to Prince George resident, Vernon Martin, who has been missing since a fire destroyed the NTA hangar on Dec. 19 at the Prince George Airport.
Lazenby, who has two anthropology students working with him, firmly believe that if there are remains on the site, "we will find them."
"The skeleton is pretty resolute, and it's pretty hard to completely consume a body by fire," he said in an earlier interview.
On the afternoon of the fire, the truck belonging to Martin, principle owner, was found parked at the site, but a search at that time did not reveal any human remains.
The search was delayed until warmer weather thawed the ice build up caused by fire fighting efforts.
