Sci-fi television star Summer Glau added to Prince George’s Northern FanCon guest list

Considered one of the ‘most spaced-out crew members’ on the silver screen

Northern FanCon’s celebrity panel has reached out to the far ends of the galaxy to land one of the most recognizable science-fiction actresses in recent history.

Summer Glau is the latest guest for the 2020 event, the Prince George convention’s committee announced on social media yesterday morning (Jan. 21).

She’s an alumni of several television shows and movies and is an award-winning personality of the comic genre, including her role as Cameron Phillips in Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles and River Tam in Firefly.

The 39-year-old has an extensive resume from the 2010s that saw her make recurring or guest appearances on shows like Arrow, Castle, Chuck, Alphas and Grey’s Anatomy.

Glau even got to play herself as a fan favourite of the main characters in an episode of the popular The Big Bang Theory.

This will be her first-ever visit to Prince George when she attends Northern FanCon at the CN Centre May 8-10, 2020.

Glau joins an extensive list of other celebrities this Spring, including Tara Reid, Mike Colter (Luke Cage), Marc Bernardin (Castle Rock), Pat Mastroianni and Stacie Mistysyn (Degrassi) and Jason David Frank (Power Rangers).

You can visit Northern FanCon’s website for tickets and more information.
