The nomination period for the School District. No. (57) by-election is now open.
Nominations will be received by the Chief Election Officer or Deputy Chief Election Officer, by appointment, from now to 4 p.m. Friday, May 12.
Nomination documents are available online or may be picked up in person at the district offices at 2100 Ferry Avenue.
Voters will have to elect two candidates to fill the vacant seats left by the resignations of Prince George trustees Betty Bekkering and Gillian Burnett.
The election will be held on Saturday June, 17.
