Highway 16 West has been closed at Chilako Bridge following a fatal crash.
Located 20 kilometres west of Prince George, the stretch had been closed to allow investigators to gather evidence after police were called to the scene shortly before 1 p.m.
Reopening is scheduled for 7 p.m. with a detour non-commercial traffic via Lower Mud Road to McBride Timber North, according to DriveBC.
