A rookie RCMP officer who landed himself in a six-pack of trouble during a day of duty at Bella Coola's Canada Day weekend rodeo is now with the Prince George detachment.
Chris Christinger, who's been on the job for about eight months, was called on the carpet and docked 10 days pay for misconduct including drinking four bottles of vodka-type coolers prior to his afternoon shift start, vouching for an 18-year-old's age as being legal at a beer garden, and driving a police vehicle under the influence of alcohol.
