April is set to end on a thundering note in Prince George.
Environment Canada's forecast today (April 30) is predicting a risk of thunderstorms with southwest winds gusting up to 50 km/h.
Mainly cloudy skies may also bring in a 60 per cent chance of showers for the afternoon.
Those same conditions are expected in the evening, though winds could die down to 30 km/h.
Temperatures are expected to reach a high of 11 C and drop to a low of 3 C.
