April Showers... mixed with snow

Mother Nature may be playing an April Fool's Day prank on Prince George a week too late.

According to Environment Canada, there's a mix of sun and cloud set for today (April 8), but a 30 per cent chance of flurries may fly in the morning too.

Winds are also expected to gust up to 50 km/h, dropping the temperature to -12 C with the chill.

After the city reaches a daily high of 4 C, mainly cloudy skies may bring in some periods of snow for the evening in the amount of two centimetres.

However, that snow may also be mixed with rain and 50 km/h winds.

The thermometer is predicting to dip to -10 C.
