Rise and shine, Prince George!

Extreme cold warning continues
Rosmarie Vonah - Feb. 8, 2021 winter morning sun snow tree branches
Sunny winter morning in Prince George brightens the snow and trees.

Flurries are expected to fly in Prince George today (Feb. 9).

Environment Canada says they could end this afternoon followed by a mix of sun and cloud, but it'll be another cold day as well.

Winds blowing north at 20 km/h will make the high of -23 C feel like -38 C.

Evening conditions will be partly cloudy up until midnight.

The city is still under an extreme cold warning as frostbite is a possibility with the temperature falling to -44 C with the chill overnight.
