A cold front is coming through Prince George this weekend.

The weather is going to drop so low that Environment Canada says there's a risk of frostbite later tonight (Feb. 6) with temperatures dropping to -28 C with the wind chill.

Before that, Saturday will be filled with periods of snow and winds up to 40 km/h.

Conditions will switch to partly cloudy skies as the temps begin to drop significantly.

The expected high is set for -11 C, but will feel like -23 C with the wind chill.
