We may be getting some rain this weekend, but that could help steer the smoke away.
According to Environment Canada, Prince George will be getting showers today (Sept. 19) at a 40 per cent chance and in the amount of 10 to 15 mm, which includes a risk of a thunderstorm in the morning and early afternoon.
Smoke will still be around with winds picking up pace to 20 km/h.
Those same conditions will stick around into the evening among partly cloudy skies.
The high for today could reach 17 C, while the overnight low drops to 6 C.
