More thunderstorms could be on the way for Prince George today (July 8).
Environment Canada says the city will start with a mix of sun and cloud and just a 30 per cent chance of showers, but a risk of a thunderstorm will immediately follow in the afternoon.
Winds will begin to gust at 20 km/h, bringing in mainly cloudy skies for the evening.
The agency says there could be a few showers around midnight as the thunderstorm risk remains in play.
The mercury will rise to a high of 21 C before dropping to a low of 10 C.
