The final weekend of May will inherit gloomy skies for Prince George.

Environment Canada's Saturday (May 30) forecast is calling for main clouds with 20 km/h winds heading northwest early in the afternoon.

This will likely bring in rain and a risk of thunderstorms for the evening in the amount of 15 mm.

Those earlier 20 km/h winds will continue to blow around midnight, dropping the temperature to a low of 9 C.

The high for today is expected to reach 21 C.
