Get ready for a complete weather reverse, Prince George.

According to Environment Canada, Tuesday (March 10) will bring mainly cloudy skies into the northern capital with a 70 per cent chance of flurries in the morning and a 70 per cent chance of rain showers in the afternoon.

There will also be 40 km/h winds gusting up to 60 km/h later in the day.

By bedtime, skies will only be partly cloudy, but there'll still be a chance of showers, albeit at 30 per cent.

Those earlier 40 km/h winds will still take place overnight, dropping the temperature to -9 C with the chill.

The high for today is an expected 5 C.

An air quality advisory remains in effect as well due to higher concentrations of dust in Prince George.
