Rise and shine, Prince George!

Drive to the conditions and slow down
Hanna Petersen - Jan. 3, 2020 snow on roads
Snowfall covers the roads of Prince George (via Hanna Petersen)

The good news is, the snow is expected to taper off today (Feb. 1).

Environment Canada is predicting a 60 per cent chance of flurries for Prince George to start the month of February, but will later turn into a mix of sun and cloud.

However, it'll be a gusty Saturday with winds racing up to 60 km/h and dropping the high to -11 C with the chill in the afternoon.

Partly cloudly skies will cover the northern night and winds are expected to die down to 20 km/h after midnight.

The low will be -5 C, but will feel like -12 C with the chill.
