More clouds and more potential snow is on the way for Prince George.

Today (Jan. 5), Environment Canada is calling for mainly cloudy skies and on-and-off periods of snow mixed with rain.

Only 2 cm of snowfall is expected before 12 p.m., the agency says.

Winds will also blow south at 30 km/h, eventually gusting to 50 by the late morning.

The evening will see clouds and dying winds to 20 km/h, but this will drop the overnight temperature to -14 C with the chill.

The high will reach 1 C, but it'll feel like -9 C with wind chill.
