Rise and shine, Prince George!

Rain and wind on tap for Tuesday
Snowy and foggy morning - Dec. 16, 2019

In a plot twist, Prince George could get into the positive temperatures in the heart of December.

This is largely due to the 40 per cent chance of rain showers in Environment Canada's forecast coupled with southerly winds, which could gust up to 60 km/h by Noon.

The high is expected to reach 4 C, transitioning into cloudy skies and a 60 per cent chance of flurries overnight.

Winds will continue into the evening, but will slow down to 20 km/h by midnight, dropping the low to 0 C.

A snowfall warning is in effect for the Pine Pass along Highway 97 as well.

Up to 15 cm is expected and will taper off by the afternoon.
