Looks like the rain will stay away from Prince George today (Oct. 7), but it's going to be cold.

Environment Canada is calling for a mix of sun and cloud and 40 km/h winds to start the morning, making temperatures feel like -10 C.

Our afternoon high will get to a modest 2 C despite the wind speeds.

By dinnertime, skies will become clear but winds will continue to blow north at 40 km/h before becoming lighter overnight.

The low will dip to -8 C, but the wind chill will make it feel like -10 C again.
