Environment Canada is calling for lots of rain in B.C.'s northern capital today (July 10).

Prince George could get between 10 and 15 mm of rain thanks to showers throughout the day and a risk of a thunderstorm in the afternoon.

The rain is likely to continue into the evening.

The forecast says it'll end near midnight and turning into cloudy skies for overnight, but there is also a risk of a thunderstorm around that time as well.

Today's high could reach 17 C, while the lowest temperature will read 11 C.
