It'll still be cold, but the sun will beam brightly

Break out the sunglasses because Tuesday is calling for sunny skies.

After a brief stint of ice fog patches in the morning, Environment Canada is forecasting a bright day and a high of -16 C, but it'll feel like -32 C with the windchill.

The air quality statement is still in effect for Prince George due to a higher-than-normal dust concentration.

The advisory took effect as of 9:20 a.m. on Monday (Feb. 11).

The risk of frostbite is also high throughout the day with a -23 C temperature for the afternoon.

By bedtime, a few clouds will show up thanks to 15 km/h, dipping to a low of -28 C overnight.
