PHOTOS: Prince George celebrates Downtown Winterfest

Guess who knows how to have fun in the cold and snow?

Cold weather won’t stop the people of Prince George from having a good time!

We bundled up, faced the cold and headed outside to have some fun at downtown Prince George’s annual Downtown Winterfest celebrations.

And there was snow much going on!

The festival, which took place at Canada Games Plaza, featured road hockey, mini snow golf, sit skiing, the Cottonwood Express mini train and snow slides.

There were community mascots on hand and ice sculptures decorating the very nearby Community Foundation Park.

A s’mores making contest, food trucks, and a winter market filled with local and handmade goods also helped keep everyone warm.
