Rise and shine, Prince George!

Risk of frostbite, despite no extreme cold warning in effect

Do whatever you can to stay warm and toasty, Prince George!

Today (Feb. 5), we'll see a mix of sun and cloud with temperatures as high as -18 C according to Environment Canada.

However, with the 15 km/h winds, it'll feel like -36 C in the morning and -22 C by the afternoon.

Be mindful that this extremely low temperature means a risk of frostbite, so dress appropriately if you are spending a great deal of time outside.

Risks are greater for young children, older adults, people with chronic illnesses, people working or exercising outdoors, and those without proper shelter.
