Environment Canada has even issued a special weather statement for the fog. The weather agency says expect near zero visibility.
"A strong inversion has trapped an extensive area of fog over the Prince George area. Fog will likely become fog patches this afternoon," reads the online bulletin.
Today's high is -4 C and the overnight low is -8 C (with a wind chill of -11 C).
The fog and clouds will continue into the evening.
