It looks like we are in for a rainy and windy Friday.
Environment Canada is calling for wind gusts up to 70 km/h this morning, followed by showers late this afternoon. The high is 5 C.
The rain should end near midnight, but the wind is still expected to howl. The low is -4 C and the overnight wind chill is -12 C.
If you're planning to drive Pine Pass today, there will be a snowstorm coming through.
Environment Canada is predicting between 25 and 35 cm of snow by early Saturday morning (Dec. 15).
"Consider postponing non-essential travel until conditions improve," reads the online alert. "Rapidly accumulating snow could make travel difficult over some locations."
