In an email to parents on Wednesday, School District 57 announced that a non-instructional day originally scheduled for Sept. 19 will now take place on Oct. 3.
The Indigenous Day of Learning non-instructional day was cancelled on short notice, to honour the Queen’s funeral, after the provincial and federal governments declared the day a holiday for government employees.
A revised 2022-23 school schedule is available on School District 57’s website.
