Hadih House had such a positive response to its first buffalo hide scraping event that an encore is already scheduled for Friday.
"We wanted to let one of the hides get softer so we have aged it a few more days and we are inviting the public to come back and take a turn again scraping the hide," said Hadih House co-ordinator Amanda Prince.
The first event Tuesday attracted several participants of all ages, who took up a blade to scrape donated bison hides from October Farms.
Those wishing a second try, or those who missed the first event, can come at 1 p.m. Friday to Hadih House at 2105 Pine St.
The finished hides will be used to make powwow drums for a fledgling local drumming group.
