Tenants in Prince George have the opportunity to learn about their rights as renters during a free virtual program on Friday.
It's set to start at noon and is being hosted by the Justice Education Society and Prince George Pubic Library.
The session will cover the basics of tenancy in B.C., how to write a tenancy agreement, tenant rights and responsibilities, and how to end a lease or deal with an eviction notice.
In addition, participants will also learn about the impact of COVID-19 on renters including legal changes and a renter's responsibilities and rights during the pandemic.
