Olson is in the process of compiling biographical information and photos so that he can publish a book about Crescent Spur's history. Crescent Spur is located two hours and 15 minutes east of Prince George, just before McBride. In past years it used to be a buzzing community. Currently it's a popular heli-skiing destination.
