Area E (Woodpecker-Hixon) director Art Kaehn has easily retained his role as chair of the Regional District of Fraser-Fort George board of directors.
First taking on the position at the end of 2006, Kaehn was elected via acclamation at Thursday afternoon's board meeting.
The roles of chair and vice chair are renewed every December, with those elected serving one-year terms.
Area G (Crooked River-Parsnip) director Terry Burgess was again elected, also via acclamation, as vice-chair of the board.
"Chair Kaehn and I strive to fairly represent the cities and towns and rural areas," Burgess said. "Let me assure you, we will represent a united front."
