The city enjoyed a second day of record-setting warmth on Wednesday.
The high for the day was 11.4 C, breaking the old record for Dec. 10 of 7.2, set in 1946, according to Environment Canada.
It was even warmer in Quesnel, where the high was 12.5 C, also record setting. The previous record for Dec. 10 was 12.4 C, set in 1900.
On Tuesday, the high in Prince George was 11.9 C, shattering the old record of 7.8 C, set in 1925.
It's doubtful the trend will continue. The high for Thursday was forecast to be 5 C, and according to the Environment Canada website, the record for data collected from 1942 to 2009 was 9 C, set in 1980.
Temperatures were forecast to hover around the freezing mark until Sunday, when the high is expected to be -3 C.
