Police are on the hunt for suspected thieves in the Pineview area.
Shortly after 6:30 Thursday morning, RCMP responded to a call about a theft in progress on Wilson Road.
Police found that a few vehicles had been entered and that there were attempts to steal two of them. Two suspects, a man and woman, were seen in the area before police arrived but the suspects fled on foot.
With the help of a police dog team, the suspects were tracked to a home on Bendixon Road where a 24-year-old woman was found and arrested.
The male suspect who has yet to be found is described as Caucasian with a thin build. He's possibly in his late 20s and was wearing dark clothing.
There is the possibility that there is a second man associated with this incident, the RCMP said.
Anyone in the Pineview area who sees the suspect or suspects or sees something suspicious is asked not to approach them, but to call 911.
