A Prince George RCMP officer suffered non-life threatening injuries after a collision between a police cruiser and pick-up truck on Wednesday evening.
At approximately 5:20 p.m. the police cruiser and truck collided on Highway 97, approximately 500 metres north of the John Hart Bridge.
The RCMP officer was taken by ambulance to the University Hospital of Northern B.C. The man driving the pick-up truck was checked by emergency crews at the scene and released.
North District RCMP's collision reconstructionist was on site to investigate the scene, and the investigation continues today.
No cause had been determined in the crash as of Thursday morning.
